Welcome to the first linkup for Friday’s Hunt. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter.
If you didn’t this week but would like to next week, the topics will be: Starts with B, Week’s Favorite, and outside. I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. Without furthur ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.
Starts with A…Abstract or Artsy. I love playing with my camera and setting up still lifes. It’s been quite a while since I’ve taken the time to do one, but here’s a couple of them that I came up with last night.
Week’s Favorite… This is the deer skull from where the coyotes brought him down in my pasture.
Celebrate… I’m certainly celebrating a fun creative night.
Yeah, I know how to party in the new year.
Happy New Year!
Click the button below to go to a new page where you add your link and view others already linked up. If you have questions or problems, let me know, and I will try to help.
I’m also sharing with NF DAM (digital art) and Shadow Shot Sunday.
Love that last photo!
Happy New Year!
Lea
Thanks, Lea! Happy New Year to you as well.
Ha! I DID it!! Happy New Year and thanks for the inspiration Teresa!! 🙂
It’s my pleasure! I’m just excited I got the linky figured out and everything started without a hitch!
How fun and great shots. Happy Happy New Year. Teresa
Thanks! Hope you have a wonderful 2016!
Thanks for hosting, Teresa! I’ve been looking forward to it all week! Happy New Year!
I’m glad you joined in! I’m already having so much fun with it! I might have to keep challenging my photography skills for these posts.
Love, love! the pics! Happy 2016!
Thanks, Muriel. It was a lot of fun. Hope you have a great 2016!
very nice, teresa. good luck with the new link-up!
Thanks, so much. Happy 2016!
Your artistry is wonderful, a great ‘A”, sorry about the deer, but is a great pic. Happy New Year!
Thanks, Ralph. I thought using his skull as art might be a nice tribute to him.
I have never taken the time to set up still lifes but it does look like fun! Thanks for hosting Friday’s Hunt, Teresa. I think this will be fun.
I don’t do it often because I generally turn my house into a mess, but it is a lot of fun. I also learn a lot about my camera in these controlled shoots.
I like your tea cup and pot pictures, Teresa. The pot pictures were complex to arrange? The wine glasses effects turned out to be intriguing. I could see a champagne glass that wasn’t there.
Happy New Year !!!
Oh yes, I messed up # 11 on Mr. Linky. He started with four blanks for some reason, but after I started, there were only three.
..
Hmmm… It’s a little different because I have a WordPress blog. We’ll figure it out. It wasn’t too hard to arrange once I created my greenery/flower.
seems like fun Teresa. Shall check out if I have anything suitable.
I don´t think I have seen you creating such artsy images before. And they are beautiful. Maybe you would like to enter my NF DAM meme. It´s about digital art.
Wednesdays at: http://nfverk.blogspot.com
I add your link to my linklist 🙂
I usually don’t have a lot of time/space to set up these creative images. I’m on winter break from work, so I get to play and have fun.
Next week I’lll participate too !
Oh, thank you!
Lovely images, Teresa. The last shot of the glasses with the bokeh is my favorite. I hope to oin in with your new meme linkup. May your New Year be filled with peace, love and joy! Happy New Year to you and yours!
Thanks, Eileen. I hope you have a wonderful 2016!
Sweet! And what fun!
Looking forward to this!

Thanks, Louisette. Happy 2016!
What cool captures! Yours are beautiful. I’m working on my post.
Took yesterday off! I did a marathon 12 posts in 12 hours it was grueling. LOL.
I’ll be back in a little while.
Happy New Year!
That is a lot of posting! Thanks so much for coming by. I had a lot of fun playing with the still lifes.
That last shot is a stunner!
Thanks!
thanks for linking up 🙂
Gorgeous Still LIfes!
I made a note of the list for next week and hope to participate.
Thanks. I do hope you can join us!
Whoosh! Those are some fabulous stills! Beautiful! I assume I can just observe?
I’m not much into doing that, and don’t have a URL.
Thanks. Of course. This is just like any other post (other than the little linky button at the bottom). I do have someone who is going to try to link up a public FB album for next week. I think it works with Flicker too.
Oh, your still lives are beautiful!
Happy new year, keep on partying 🙂
Thanks! I am going to try to do a lot more photography this year.
Lovely still life photos. I’m joking in with some plants beginning with A from the garden.
I saw! Thank you so much for joining the fun.
That was supposed to be joining, not joking
That is one artsy teapot and what a gorgeous gold colour! It was sad to see the farm friends you lost last year but I appreciate your selfie to put a face to your name Teresa.
Guess I forgot that the first Friday was New Year’s Day, and we had family then so I’m putting something together for the second week. I have to be careful that I leave the Mosaic Monday link page up as my last post for a couple of days. I like how your link shows the participants on another page.
Thanks. It is nice to have it look like a normal blog post for those who don’t participate. I debated about starting on New Year’s Day, but I figured it was a good way to start the new year with a new meme. Happy 2016!
Whew! I just made the deadline for your first week. 🙂 I like the still life works you created. They’re whimsical and elegant. You have me wanting to try something like that.
Glad you made it! It really is a lot of fun to do the still lifes. I usually do a long weekend or so of it because it’s so much work to mess my house up with everything, but it’s totally worth it!
Exquisite range of photos. The wine glasses in particular look magical.
Thanks, Gemma. 🙂
