Dusk

9 Dec

I am not a fan of the short days, but I must say, I have enjoyed dusk these last few days.

It’s been beautiful!

Sharing with Warm Heart Wednesday.  Oh, and D is for dusk.  I’m also sharing with Good Fences.

I’d rather the days be longer too!!! We’ve just had baby goats this weekend and there’s too much to do and not enough daytime!!! Beautiful pics!! I shouldn’t complain after all this is Gods time!!!

Congratulations on the new little kids! I really do wish I had more time before dark when I get home, but it is beautiful!

    Very beautiful indeed!

Thanks. Those trees do give me some pretty sunsets.

Warms my heart too and I’m not even there. The top picture is my favorite, I like the lined rows. Somehow they seem to be making a statement about atmospheric pressure lines and are sowing the shape of the highs and lows. My take.

I, too, have been enjoying the beauttiful sunsets that this season offers. Your pictures are lovely.

I guess it’s our consolation for the short days.

Thanks. I do like the dramatic feel to it when the sky is all gray.

The skies have been beautiful! That first one, especially!

I agree. Love those bands of color.

I’m not a fan of the short days either, but I really like your photos! Good work!
Where we live, we’re at the west end of our little town and just to the west are more large hills. So that gives us even shorter days, because the sun goes behind those hills. It also means that we don’t always get beautiful sunsets!

What a shame to miss out on the beautiful sunsets! I am counting down to the winter solstice and the return of the sun.

Don’t like the short days either, but these sunsets and after – are beautiful!

    • Teresa December 11, 2015 at 5:25 pm #

I guess we have to settle for the beautiful sunsets until the days get longer again.

I’ve always loved that time of day, no matter the season.

    • Teresa December 13, 2015 at 1:26 pm #

Me too. It just seems that in the winter, we don’t get the golden evening light that I like so much.

    I’ve always loved dusk!

I think it’s what they call the ‘gloaming’ in Ireland!

It feels so peaceful and calm.

And it always warms my heart, too!

    Thank you for linking.

    Happy New Year and…

    XOXO
