Maaing About It

27 Nov

This is Vinnie’s doe Veronica.  She’s awfully cute, but her personality is a lot like her maa.

What’s she maaing about?

She was on one side of the very muddy barnyard, and what she wanted was on the other side.

Doe and Kid

Finally, she’s back with her maa.

Although, I do belive she’s old enough to wean.

Sharing with Saturday’s Critters and Camera Critters.

Yup! You’re probably right! And it’ll probably be difficult. Do you plan to wean her and the other younguns?

She’ll get weaned when I put her mom in with the buck to get bred for next year. Same with the other little girls.

She reminds me of a couple of “teenage” cats we have that don’t want to be weaned from their moms! 🙂

Amazing how tolerant those moms can be!

If she were sweet, I’d be tempted to keep her. Little snot.

Thanks for hosting, Eileen. I’m trying to get back into linking up and visiting other people now that the pumpkin patch is done for the year.

Hi there, just dropping by from Eileen’s critter link up. I cannot resist a photo of a goat. Veronica is so adorable!

Too bad Veronica has a complaining personality. She DOES look cute.

    • Teresa November 29, 2015 at 8:38 am #

She won’t let me touch her. She gets that from her maa.

Animals do each have their own personalities. I had a cat that didn’t want to be touched. Some would snuggle in my lap while others were content to keep some distance. Interesting that mother and daughter are the same in that regard. She is a cutie.

Goats are very family oriented, so it makes sense that she’d learn her mother’s aloof manner.
