Sunshine and Fences

12 Nov

I’m really missing the beautiful weather we had last weekend when it was a perfect day for walking in pasture.

The sky was sunny.

The goats were feeling frisky and having fun.

They were enjoying all that green grass.

I’m afraid the really cold winter weather will be here before any of us are ready for it.  Tonight, they were in pasture until almost dark.  I don’t like when they are out that late, so I’m afraid it won’t be long before I start feeding them hay just so they don’t go back out to pasture in the evening.

Sharing with Good Fences.

It was. I’m afraid those nice days are limited.

Oh, I know what you mean about the nice weather ending! And ours hasn’t even been really bad yet! Thanks for the nice pictures. 😃

We’ve been really lucky this fall, but the cold rain really makes me realize winter is coming.

Lovely Autumn days like that are so pleasant. The goats looked to be having fun there. Hope your winter isn’t too bad.

I think we’re in an area that isn’t supposed to have a severe winter.

Soon we will all have to face winter including the goats. Love seeing them playing

I seriously need to winterize. Hopefully, the decent weather will hold through Thanksgiving break.

Yep, the weather is definitely changing here too. I totally get it that you for don’t want to chase after the goats now.

I always worry about coyotes when they push the evening browsing in pasture.
