The Boys’ Move

2 Nov

Finally, after four months of a leaky roof and four months of my make-shift tarp shelter, the boys have a solid roof over their heads.  It’s about time!

I had to work on fences on both sides of the building before I could let them into this area.

Some goats weren’t too sure about this change.

It took just a little bribery to get them to come inside and realize they had a new home.

I didn’t think Boeris was ever going to leave again.  It’s been really hard on him this wet, rainy summer.

I’m so glad they have a good shelter again.

It really is nice for them. I’m relieved to have it ready for them.

Oh that’s so nice! Funny that they hesitated though. I’m really glad it’s finished for them.

It wasn’t hesitation as much as showing them it was there with an open door.

Boeris looks quite content in his new condominium! I’m so happy for you, to have this finally finished!

Yes. It took way too long and was way too much drama and stress.

Is that Snickers in the first picture inspecting the goats new area first? and Boeris looks very happy.

Actually, it’s Bob. Boeris is thrilled with the new digs.
