Wonderful Wether

21 Oct

I have five wethers on my farm.  They are boys that have been castrated.

Marley wether_6994ew

Marley is my biggest.  He’s funny and sweet.

W is for wether (pronounced like weather).  Sharing with Alphabe-Thursday.

He weighed 200 pounds a couple of years ago, and I don’t think he’s lost any.

Now that is a new word for me but I was wondering why you kept these goats that could not breed now? Apart from sentiment.

I’m a horrible goat farmer, and they are super sweet!

And some people use them as companions for a buck so that he won’t be lonely. Herd animals after all.
