A Happy Llama

1 Oct

I think Llenny looks like a happy llama.  I want to keep it that way.

I thought I’d take him up north for the petting zoo because he likes people, but he likes to get really up close and personal to meet them.  I mean, like sticking his face in yours and sniffing.  That tends to freak people out, and if they don’t let him smell them, he gets upset.  I think it’s best he stay at home.  Maybe people can get a glimpse of him on the hayrack ride.

Oh, I’d love that but I can see how that would freak some folks out

I had someone looking over the gate when I was gone, and when he walked up, they stepped back. They said he freaked and was trying to jump the fence to get to them. He’d have been fine if he could have sniffed them. I don’t want to stress him out like that.

I do think so, especially now that his wool is growing back.

Most people really don’t know how to act around animals–I think you made the right choice-but he really is adorable, and maybe someday you can find some people to play with him that won’t be frightened of a little sniff. ;_)

He’s had visitors to my barnyard, and he loves following them and sniffing them over.

He would be way too stressed with all the people.

Llenny is great! I once knew a llama and that’s how we greeted each other every week…he’d stick his nose next to mine and we’d both blow on each other. … Llama love!

He’s so used to me now, that he just ignores me. Kind of miss my llama greetings.
