Both little peachicks are still here and doing well.
Momma peahen takes very good care of them.
They drive her (and me) a bit crazy though. Can you see the gap along the back fence? They sneak out and eat green stuff with the goats.
So far they’re doing okay, but it is dangerous out there with the hawks (and cats). Occasionally, they get a bit far from the pen, and then I send them back to their mom.
They are already good little fliers.
The other night they both made it on a six-foot roost. I was very impressed!
They are SO CUTE! I hope they mind their mom and stay safe.
I do too. It’s been a long time since we had chicks successful grow up. In fact, their mom is one of the last ones.
they are really cute! i sure hope they stay safe!
Me too. The world is a dangerous place for little birds.
They are adorable. Oh, I would be worried sick, they sound worse than teenagers!
They do drive me (and mom) crazy!
Wow, they are starting to have an actual peahen (are they both female?) look about them, rather than the generic “fluffy chick of unknown species” look! I am glad to see them feathering out so well. I hope they will continue to thrive!
I won’t be able to tell gender until spring. At that time, if there’s a male, he’ll start to get his bright neck feathers.
OMGosh they’re cute.
They are adorable! I just love watching/listening to them out there.
It would B&W wonderful if these chicks made it to adulthood.
It really would be! Of course, I don’t know what I’d do if one were a male, since I already have two.
They’re so cute. I hope they stay out of trouble.
They do seem to have a knack for finding it. Hopefully, they can survive.
They are so cute, adorable chicks! I hope they stay safe! Have a happy weekend!
I try, Eileen, but they do have a way of finding trouble.
The peachicks are adorable! I have never seen them before.
For some reason, when they are tiny, they remind me of little ostriches. These are really getting a true peafowl look to them now.
Oh boy!!! Talk about cute! I sure hope they make it to adults! Could you sell a male?
Can you close off that opening where they are getting out?
There are way too many places for them to sneak out for me to be able to keep them in. Stupid digging chickens. It’s likely I’d be able to sell the male.
Such cute little birds with their long feathers!
They do amaze me with the size of their wings.
Very cute!
They are!
So cute! Hope that the can stay adult
I do too. They are pretty birds.
