Little Flying Critters

19 Jul

I’m still trying to get caught up from being gone, but I’m pretty sure that will never happen, so I decided to go for a short walk this evening.  It’s hard to take many pictures right now because we still haven’t made hay yet.  I’m hoping that will happen this week.

I did find a couple of cooperative little critters.

Now if I could just get those monarchs to sit still a little longer.

It was fun playing in the golden light.

Tomorrow it’s back to trying to get caught up with the garden, garage, and making hay.  Oh, but it’s supposed to rain too.

Great pictures! Dragonflies are such fascinating creatures, aren’t they? And of course, so are the lovely monarchs and bees! You have a real gift for photography!

It’s not easy out in the tall grass. They like to hide behind the grass where I can’t focus on them. I was glad these cooperated.

No rain, but no hay yet. It will probably be next week. Sigh…
