When Jules Met Llenny

13 May

I shared that Jules panicked the first time she saw Llenny.  After I let him into the barnyard, she found a safe place to watch him.

That worked well, but she got careless, and he decided to go up and introduce himself when she was just sitting there.

I’m pretty sure they aren’t going to be BFFs anytime soon.

If Zoinks isn’t a good enough Z word for Alphabe-Thursday, how about zodiographer (one who writes about animals).

Great photos Theresa! I have been following the addition of Llenny, poor guy just wants to be friends. I Llaughed out loud reading this one.

    • Teresa May 13, 2015 at 8:33 pm #

Jules is not very brave. He was only trying to be friendly.

Laughing. 🙂 At least she wasn’t spat upon!

    • Teresa May 13, 2015 at 8:34 pm #

I think Llenny is the lucky one here. I’m surprsized she hit the post instead of his face. I was a bit worried.

Good write-up of a cute story, Teresa! And I agree on your two “Z” words! Both are great! And good thing, too, that Llenny didn’t spit on Jules! That would’ve sealed off any chance friendship forever!

    • Teresa May 13, 2015 at 8:35 pm #

I haven’t seen Llenny spit on anyone. Seems to me that Jules was over reacting a bit.

Awesome!! Great series of photos. 🙂

That’s so funny. The difference in size makes it even funnier. I have a small cat that used to go crazy whenever the dog came home from the groomer. She’d stalk the dog and jump out at her. I guess she didn’t recognize her. I started asking them not to put any perfume smell on the dog and things got a lot better. My dog needed to smell like a dog so the cat wouldn’t freak out.

    • Teresa May 13, 2015 at 8:36 pm #

That’s funny to think that the smell would be so completely masked. I’m not sure what I could do to help Jules relax around him. She’s rather a chicken.

This was so cute & funny! Loved reading it while looking at the pictures. Awesome shots. Poor Llenny-too funny with Jules.Hopefully they’ll become great friends soon. 🙂

As long as Jules doesn’t start smacking Llenny around, I’ll be okay with it. She just shouldn’t make him hate cats.

wow; I came on as anonymous! Interesting! Jan

Hahaha ! I wonder how my Arthur would react when he would be confronted to a LLama, I will never know !

    • Teresa May 14, 2015 at 8:15 am #

That might be for the best. Jules wishes she’d never met a llama.

  13. Stewart Monckton May 14, 2015 at 6:02 am #

Funny! Looks like Jules was about to launch some kind of sneak attack in that first picture! I like it.

    Cheers – Stewart M – Melbourne

    • Teresa May 14, 2015 at 8:15 am #

No attack at that point. She was just trying to check him out without him noticing her.

She certainly has more of that attitude than many cats.

  17. Freda Mans May 14, 2015 at 3:22 pm #

LOL Llenny backed up pretty quick. Too funny.

    • Teresa May 14, 2015 at 3:37 pm #

    • Teresa May 14, 2015 at 3:49 pm #

But he was just trying to be friendly. 🙂

  19. Claire Moxon May 14, 2015 at 6:46 pm #

Actually, I’m kind of surprised that you didn’t get a shot of Jules catapulting herself off the post and bouncing off a tree in the process…. (hee hee hee)

    • Teresa May 14, 2015 at 10:17 pm #

That was the first time she saw him. She managed to make it up the fence. She just ran out of up to climb.

  20. Su-sieee! Mac May 14, 2015 at 10:59 pm #

Wow! Those were amazing photos of the duo. I’m impressed with Lleny, staying cool like that.

He’s actually pretty mellow unless there’s a dog around. That’s good too.

Do you mind if I say that cat’s got balls?!!! Your life with Lenny is totally gripping…
