Every year I have to have at least one kid with an X name.  How else would I be able to post for Alphabe-Thursday for the letter X?  Without further ado, I present Coffee’s buck, Xerxes.

He already thinks he’s a tough buck. He was butting heads with Gidget while I was trying to take his picture.

How clever. Why didn’t I think to give one of my cats an X name? Oh well…there’s always next time.

    • Teresa April 30, 2015 at 6:48 am #

Well, I get a new batch of kids each year and have to have a lot of names.

Xerxes is ADORABLE!!! You’re right about those cute dark legs! I especially like the picture of him on the log – or is it a tree? Whatever!

    • Teresa April 30, 2015 at 6:49 am #

It used to be a tree. It’s been dead and fallen for so long I think it qualifies as a log. It’s fun no matter what we call it.

Isn’t he gorgeous, love his name very strong and masculine!

    • Teresa April 30, 2015 at 6:50 am #

I thought it fit him. Not all goats could carry such a big name.

He is a cutie, great shots. Happy Thursday!

Such a cutie! Love his markings & little horns already. Unusual name, I’m amazed at how you come up with the names & that you remember all of them! Love it when they butt heads.

    • Teresa April 30, 2015 at 6:50 am #

I can usually remember pairs. Like Helen’s girls are Hilda and Hazel, but I have to check my cheat sheet to remember which is which.

Handsome fellow, and he looks quite sturdy. Aha! So that’s your secret! (the letter X)

He really is growing well. As a single, he gets all of mom’s milk to himself!
