Rainy Days

9 Apr

We’re still in this rainy pattern that’s impacting a huge portion of the country.

I’m really glad that we are just on the edge of it, and nothing has been severe.

We all like the sunshine better than the gray skies.  Except the geese don’t seem to care.

It does make the grass turn green; however, and everyone likes nice green pastures!

Hopefully, I’ll get all my  new moms out on the front pasture this weekend when we have some sunshine again.  Then I can take pictures outside instead of through the window too.

Yes; it is gloomy;but at least no tornadoes! Hoping your animals will enjoy the sun this weekend(and hopefully the weather cooperates). Your photos are good through the windows even!

I’m very glad we’re not in the areas being impacted by severe weather. It’s been a great rain.

I’m very grateful for the rain without anything severe. Hope you’re staying safe too.

We’ve had gray, rainy days, too, but our temps have been mild as well and that’s been a great way to welcome spring!! Love your rainy day captures, Teresa! Hope you have a lovely weekend — maybe a little sun — hopefully!!

We’ve been pretty chilly, but I guess it is just the first part of April. Hope you have a good weekend too!

We had our rain earlier. I like the shot of the rain droplets on the fence. It looks peaceful.

    • Teresa April 10, 2015 at 6:43 am #

Thanks, Ida. This is a much needed rain, so it was nice.

Wish we could have some of that rain out here in California!!!

    • Teresa April 10, 2015 at 6:43 am #

I do hope you get some rain. It’s been such horrible conditions for you.

Love the 3rd shot with the rain drops on the fence

Thanks, Eileen. Hope your weekend is good as well.

It’s too bad your area can’t share some of that rain with the dry west and southwest! I hope you get the promised sunshine for the weekend, so the goats can go out and play.

    • Teresa April 10, 2015 at 10:58 am #

We honestly haven’t had much. It’s been mostly drizzling. We certainly need it too. Not as bad as the west coast, but I am grateful for the rain we’re getting.

Great photos. Love the droplets on the fence! Glad you aren’t getting the bigger storms!

    • Teresa April 10, 2015 at 10:59 am #

I am very grateful for the rain (we’re pretty dry) and the lack of destructive weather with it.

That’s what it looks like here today too. Bring on the sunshine!

    • Teresa April 11, 2015 at 7:37 am #

We certainly needed the rain, but the goats are enjoying the nice weather.

Love the bokeh goose behind the one fence. We have been hammered with rain and yes, the grass is getting greener, but it is also getting taller and we can’t cut it while it is wet (or frankly, while it is pouring the rain). #SpringDilemmas.

    • Teresa April 11, 2015 at 7:38 am #

Thanks. It does make it a challenge for some things, but we’ve certainly needed this rain.

Been soggy here too. Love the fog.

    • Teresa April 11, 2015 at 7:38 am #

It was a really foggy drive to work that morning.

Doesn’t that green grass look nice! So good to see color in the landscape again.

    • Teresa April 11, 2015 at 7:39 am #

It is great to see all that green! It’s good for my new moms too.

The rain made it here this evening, thankfully the storm alert was just a watch, and the worst of it passed north of us. I know our weeds are happy about the rain! And the power just went out! LOL

    • Teresa April 11, 2015 at 7:40 am #

Glad you didn’t get severe weather. We’ve been lucky to miss the really bad stuff.

  15. Zauberflink April 11, 2015 at 2:15 pm #

…yet it looks magical and I can really hear the poring sound of the rain through your pictures. Beautiful!

    • Teresa April 11, 2015 at 9:24 pm #

Thanks. Wish we had had a bit more actual rain rather than just dreary and damp.
