Sitting on the Fence Post

4 Mar

Jules enjoys coming out in the evening when I do chores.

She’s sitting on the fence post as to whether or not she wants to be a house cat or a barn cat.

black & white cat

I’m guessing she’ll choose to be a wherever-I-darn-well-please cat.  That means I’ll get to open doors and windows a dozen times a day to let her in and out.  That’s generally how it works with my cats.

Sharing with Alphabe-Thursday for the letter P.  P is for post.  I’m also sharing with Good Fences.

Sounds like she’s a typical cat, and will definitely do as she pleases! 🙂

    • Teresa March 4, 2015 at 8:22 pm #

      I certainly agree!

  5. Sandra March 4, 2015 at 8:29 pm #

That second picture is so unusual

    • Teresa March 4, 2015 at 8:30 pm #

I hope you mean that in a good way. LOL I thought so too with the muted background.

      • Sandra March 18, 2015 at 7:24 am #

Only seeing this now, but yes it was in a good way

  7. Oldalgebra March 4, 2015 at 11:51 pm #

Oh, golly. I just had to put my kitty to sleep this week. He was 18 years old. Very independent, like most kitties. And, like you, I was constantly opening and closing doors. I still expect to see him when I walk into a room.

    • Teresa March 5, 2015 at 6:44 am #

I’m so sorry. That’s a long time to have him in your life.

  8. Gunilla March 5, 2015 at 12:31 am #

    She’s a beauty! She’s keeping watch.

    • Teresa March 5, 2015 at 6:44 am #

She was watching barnyard tv. She’s still not too sure about the geese and goats.

  9. Margaret March 5, 2015 at 1:23 am #

    She has gorgeous markings.

    • Teresa March 5, 2015 at 6:44 am #

      She is very striking.

Excellent P post for A-T this week, love the idea of her sitting on the fence whilst making her mind up!

    • Teresa March 5, 2015 at 6:45 am #

She finds it to be a great place to sit and think.

  11. Jeanne March 5, 2015 at 3:46 am #

Jules looks SO elegant on that post!! She is one of the most beautiful cats I’ve ever seen! You really got some good shots of her this time, too!

    • Teresa March 5, 2015 at 6:45 am #

She is beautiful, but she’s horribly clumsy for a cat.

  12. Eileen March 5, 2015 at 4:16 am #

Cute kitty images, perfect pose for your good fence photos.. Have a happy day!

    • Teresa March 5, 2015 at 6:46 am #

Thanks, Eileen. Hope you have a great day too.

Jules is a beauty! I love her Phantom of the Opera mask! We have two outdoor cats with similar facial markings (though different colorings) — one is Phantom and the other is Opera!
Amazing what cats choose to sit on and yet stay balanced!

  14. lulubelleliz March 5, 2015 at 7:23 am #

Gorgeous cat. She looks like she owns the post and all around it.

    • Teresa March 5, 2015 at 1:24 pm #

      She certainly thinks she does!

  15. ツ Knipsa March 5, 2015 at 7:28 am #

I would love to let her out as long as she
    poses so nicely :))
    Have a beautiful day

    • Teresa March 5, 2015 at 1:24 pm #

Most times she’s moving too fast to take time to pose for me.

Oh my gosh, “kitty on a post too cute”! It’s a must to share this with my girlfriend, who has an adorable kitty named, Bandit, with just the cutest face markings too! Thanks, I’m still smiling at this!

    • Teresa March 5, 2015 at 1:25 pm #

Jules looks to be such a sweet kitty. How could you NOT want to open and close doors for her? ;))

    • Teresa March 8, 2015 at 9:43 am #

She is sweet and naughty. I do adore her, so I’ll open and close the door whenever she wants.
