This week Ashley gave us the task of finding the following: Pink, Old School, Walk, Accessory, and On My Table.
Pink: Bambi’s nose is about as pink as they come. She is adorable, and she’s a brat. I love her though, and she’s due to have kids again on April 1.
Old School: I feed my goats old school. I have small bales that I take pad by pad to feed them. For some reason, the first thing Millie (or many of them) does is dump the tub and eat from the ground. I’ve honestly given up on most of the tubs. Can you tell Bambi gets her pink nose from her maa, Millie?
Walk: If you remember, I shoveled paths for the animals and me. They were so nice, but now they are mud. Really, really, muddy. And there’s ice underneath. That makes them a bit treacherous.
I wanted to take advantage of our beautiful day by going for a walk in the pasture, but it was a bit snowy and sloppy.
I don’t know why it would be slushy with thirteen inches of snow melting quickly and running off the barn roof.
I didn’t make it very far. I had to admire the beauty from a distance.
Accessory: Mother Nature must have decided we needed a splash of color in the winter landscape. I’m glad to have this cardinal accessory.
On My Table: At any given time on my kitchen table you’re likely to find a basking or bathing cat lying among the plants.
They are pretty sure the table belongs to them. And I can see that I should wash the muddy paw prints off the window again while the weather is nice.

cute pink and cute kitty. the geese are happy in any weather. 🙂
The geese really are pretty content no matter the weather. I could learn that lesson from them. 😉
I love the snow. I do not care for the messy slop that results on the roads!
It’s bad on the roads and worse in the barnyard. LOL
loving your pictures today. Bambis nose is pink. 🙂 yes,we have mud too;the worst. Suppose to get real cold again Wed. night,so I’m sure what’s thawed will really be icy. Love Snickers taking a bath. Our animals know “where it’s at”.
I hadn’t heard about the incoming cold again. We’ve reallly been on a roller coaster this year.
Some nice shots here! I love the first – that pink nose is just the sweetest!
You’d think so, but she’s a brat. I can’t touch her most days, but she’ll walk up to my mom and beg for attention. LOL
Beautiful moments, love your kitty on the table too and I saw ( nearly slipped) in snowy, muddy slush just like that yesterday.
It’s horrible trying to walk and do chores in that muck. Hope you stay safe.
We Get cat nose prints on the inside of all our windows! They are just too nosy.
Yep. I have cat on the inside and outside, and the Great Pyrenees paw prints on the outside. It’s how she demands a rawhide treat.
Bambi has wonderful colors. I do not miss mud, not at all. Your shot of the melting water running off the roof is spectacular.
Thanks. Bambi is certainly a one-of-a-kind.
Nice shots as usual! Love the water.
Thank you. I was surprised how much was still coming from the roof.
Love the running water, and the beautiful cardinal!
Thanks. I love cardinals, but I can’t ever seem to get close enough to get a really good shot.
Oh I am so in love with the two water pictures!!!! And the pink noses how cute. Great Job!
Thanks. I’m awfully fond of those pink noses, too.
Beautiful series Teresa. Do goats enjoy snow the way dogs do? Thanks as always for sharing the love up-close:-)
Goats do not like snow. They didn’t come out of the barn until I shoveled paths for them.
Oh all those wonderful sweet critters ~ such a variety and beautiful scenic shots~
Happy Week to you,
artmusedog and carol
Thanks, Carol. Hope you have a great week!
Awwww lots of wonderful images.
Thanks, Felicia.
Bambi has such a sweet face ! Beautiful pictures all together !
Thanks, Gattina. She does look like she should be sweet.
Love Bambi but those sots of water falling are fantastic.
Thanks, Margaret.
Oh….lovin’ this post!!! The great goat pictures…the beautiful sun shining through the tree makes a beautiful silhouette!! The geese, the cardinal…and the sweet sweet kitty!!!
Thanks for adding your link this weekend at I’d Rather B Birdin’.
Thanks, Anni. I’m glad you host each week.
I love these!!!!
Thanks!
I love the shot of Bambi’s face.. so cute! Looks like the geese do not mind the muddy paths.. Adorable kitty.. Great photos, have a happy new week!
The geese love the muddy weather! It’s a playground for them.
Wonderful pictures, I really love the one of the water falling off the barn roof.
Thanks. I was surprised there was still that much melting.
Bambi is so cute it’s hard to believe she’s a brat. :)) Let’s hope her kids are better behaved!
Although I love snow, I don’t like slush! With ice beneath it it’s especially nasty!
Bambi is a great mom and wonderful, but she just doesn’t like attention from me (unless I have treats). That’s why I call her a brat.
Wonderful photos! I love the shots of the running water, but I hate it when the ground is wet and muddy.
The mud does add a bit of difficulty to doing chores. That’s for sure.
Wonderful response to the challenge! And great photos. Love the water shots. And that sweet pink nose! 🙂
Thanks. I do love Bambi’s nose. So bright.
Again, you’ve got great photos. And Bambi is a very pretty girl – too bad she’s a stinker! I especially enjoyed the shots of the snow melt cascading off the roof! And the cardinal, too, of course!
I can certainly sympathize with you regarding the smears on the windows. Our little furry friends are SO helpful, aren’t they!!
Bambi is a stinker, but I do adore her. I’m a bit worried that Stella is going to put her giant Great Pyrenees paws right through the glass some day when she jumps against that window.
Snickers has the right idea!
He’s got the life!
Sweet bambi;wonderfull serie fotos, greeting from Belgium
Thanks. I don’t think I’d call Bambi sweet, but she does look it.
Bambi does have a pink nose! I love her markings. Nice shadow shot. Looking forward to slush–at least the snow and ice would be on their way. The cardinal does liven up the landscape, and Snickers looks right at home.
Bambi really is adorable, even as an adult. She was a very cute kid.
