We’re in the midst of a much needed rainy spell.
That’s a good thing. It’s helping the pasture to grow. I also found some blossoms on a rogue cherry bush. It’s not easy to photograph them in gale force winds though.
Every evening, weather allowing, I enjoy walking in the pasture. It’s a bonus when I can get the Scavenger Hunt Sunday items in walk. This week the words are: bubbles, jump, pajamas, blur, and chalk. Since we had quite a bit of rain this afternoon, the ditch was full, and I even found some bubbles.
The extra water meant it was necessary to take a big jump to get over the ditch. Litha’s quads demonstrate their perfect technique.
Ricky didn’t have quite the same success. I guess we’ll chalk this up to his inexperience. Next time, I’m sure he’ll do better. Is it me, or does it look like his brother Reggie is making fun of him?
We had some dramatic clouds left in the sky. The blur of the leafless trees make it look even more ominous. At least, I think so.
Finally, you’ll have to use your imagination. I think it looks like some kids might have on their fuzzy pajamas.
Really. That’s the best I could do.
I’m also sharing with Mosaic Monday.
Great (!!) shots of the goats jumping over that stream! They look like they’re delighted to be alive!
And they should! They love racing around back there!
glad you’re getting rains – hopefully without bad storms. the jumpers are cute.
So far it has been windy, but no damage on my property; although, I know at least one tree went down near my mom’s house.
Great pics.
Thanks, Erika.
They do, indeed, look quite happy to be jumping around! The scenic shots are just awesome.
Thanks. They love it back there, and I do live in a beautiful place!
Great job with the shots. The jumping kids are great. The pajama shots work for me!
Thanks. Sometimes I have to be a bit overly creative to make all the shots work for the farm. 🙂
I love the cherry blossoms. I’m glad you got some rain. We would need some too.
Thanks. Hope you get some rain soon.
I am glad you are having some much needed rain.. I love the shots of the jumping kids. They are all adorable… Have a happy week!
Thanks, Eileen. Hope you have a great week, too.
Yes, the rain came here too and more on the way, but nothing beats those KIDS…Jammie’s and all!!!!…:)JP
I hope your rain isn’t severe. Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoyed seeing those jumping goats. They look so cute in action. And the blossoms are delightful.
Thanks, Gemma. They are a lot of fun to watch!
Enjoying every photo. Most love the jumping shots.
Thanks. They are a lot of fun to watch racing around back there.
The look on Reggie’s face is one of ‘disdain.’
The quad-jump is so ‘symbolic’ (in a quad photo panel). Did you plan it that way?
peace
Never even made the connection. LOL
That blue-greay says nothing but rain – it’s a colour that makes for good images.
Cheers – Stewart M – Melbourne
Those dark skies really make all the colors more vibrant!
Great shots –the little jumpers are so cute! Yep, your pj’s shot reminds of those zip up one-piece jammies that my kids wore! (Now your kids are wearing them LOL!)
With the damp weather, they were all fuzzy last night. 🙂
Hi Teresa,
That blue sky sure is intense. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed watching the kids go through their exercises. I hope Ricky is ready for his next try!
I’m looking forward to reading your comment on my blue truck wash post. Please come back.
Have a Happy Blue Monday!
It really was an dark blue. Luckily, we haven’t had the severe weather some places have.
That sky looks threatening – or promising, depending on how you look at it. Those little jumpers in fuzzy pajamas are so cute.
Luckily for my area, it was good. We got much-needed rain, but it wasn’t severe.
Absolutely wonderful shots! So lovely!
Thanks, Mary.
I love leaping goats and the beautiful blossoms… all so joyful! Thanks for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro:-)
Thanks, Laura! Hope you have a fantastic week.
Love these guys!
So do I! 🙂
I was impressed with the bright green of that grass! Love the leaping pix! Too bad one isn’t named Lena – could’ve been Leapin’ Lena! Love the fuzzy jammies too. I immediately thought of my grandpup, a Shih Tzu whose markings are such that from the rear he looks to be wearing dark pants! One of his nicknames is Punkin’ Pants! Have a great day!
I love that nickname, Punkin’ Pants! So cute!
Great shots of the jumping goats, how brave they are! The pajama shot is very cute too. It’s great you are getting some rain, we are getting more than we need now which keeps me from getting my gardening done.
Hope you get some better weather. Those kids have no fear!
Great shots, really wonderful ….
My compliment for these fantastic shots.
Love greetings, Karin
Thanks so much, Karin!
love your first pic – the sky looks almost unreal! I wish I cold jump like your kids:)
They are quite talented! They could be track and field stars!
Love the jumping kid shots. The leafy trees do make a good blur in the sky. Lol at the pajamas shot!
Kids are perfect for pajama shots, but these are the only little kids I have around anymore. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
I love the macros and the shots of the goats. Nice job!
Thanks, Cathy.
