Fall has arrived. The leaves have fallen from the trees revealing the nests they concealed all summer.
The many, many barn swallow nests in the barn sit empty.
My beautiful summer birds have all left.
The starlings have joined the chickens and peafowl roosting in the barn.
I have a lot of sparrows hanging out.
I see the occasional blue jay.
I’ve put the feeders out for the fall birds, and I hope I’ll soon have more varieties of birds coming to pose for me eat.
