I have two Facebook pages that I manage.  One is my farm and one is for me as an author.  The farm page is easy to update.  I add a lot of pictures and just what’s going on during the day.  The author page is a bit more difficult.  Most days the updates would be writing…editing…proofreading…  It’s not very exciting, so I’ve taken to adding quotes to some of my photography.

    Perhaps an author page calendar?

    • Teresa September 11, 2013 at 4:56 pm #

Hmmm….I might be able to do that. I wonder if I can come up with authorly quotes to span all the seasons.

I know you don’t do FB (I wish you did). 🙂 That’s also why I figured people might not mind too much if I shared them here.

Once I started looking, I really did find a lot of neat quotes. I have more ready to post!

Fun post, Teresa. I think my favorite is the one about human nature in a book store. I can relate. What makes me laugh is I can see my Mom looking at books and taking a big stack to the cash register. I love looking through her book collection and listening to her tell me about the books she has read.

    • Teresa September 11, 2013 at 4:58 pm #

That’s really neat how the books have impacted both generations. I really am dangerous in a book store.

Do you belong to Pinterest? These would be great to pin there.

    • Teresa September 11, 2013 at 5:31 pm #

I already belong to way too many things that take time. 🙂 I also don’t like how easy it is for people to pin without finding and crediting the proper source. It really bugged me when I started seeing blog posts with pictures credited to Pinterest.

Loved the quotes you chose for the photos. And, I have to say, the last one made me chuckle. I am sure every writer has felt that way, even if us non-writers can’t see that blood you all still know it’s there.

    • Teresa September 12, 2013 at 6:41 am #

That became my favorite quote when I was teaching high school writing. I swear my students all tried that method of writing. 🙂
