Christmas on the Farm

25 Dec

Along with wonderful food and family, Christmas on the farm means chores.

The animals want to eat no matter whether or not it’s a holiday.

I also have to check the water tank.

With a high temperature of around 10*F, you don’t want to take for granted that it will be fine.

I still seem to have some bug out there, and Muffin was the latest to fall victim.

Luckily, she’s back to eating today.  I’m very happy to see that mouth full of hay!

I’m hoping nobody else is going to get sick.

I hope so too. The longer we stay below freezing, the more likely they are to stay healthy.

Yep, just because it’s a holiday doesn’t mean we get a day off! 🙂
I hope the cold weather kills off all those nasty bugs.

Me too. Still no temps above freezing in the seven day forecast! 🙂

Me too. I’m glad my girls have plenty of fat to get them through their bout of the tummy bug too.
