Fun with the Farm Animals

14 Dec

Despite the challenges and hard work of living on the farm, I do have a lot of fun.  I thought I’d share a couple more pictures from our fun over the weekend!  Flower wasn’t too sure she wanted to be an angel, but the halo is a good look for her.

Fionn is such an easy going fellow!  He didn’t care at all about the Santa hat.  He just wanted to get some attention from me.

Harley is such a feisty girl, she doesn’t need festive holiday wear to have fun.

She makes her own fun by bouncing and challenging the younger kids.

I love spending time with my animal friends, whether furry

or feathered.

I hope you have a fun weekend visiting Jenny Matlock for more Alphabe-Thursday posts with the letter F.

I love her coloring. She’s the spitting image of her dad, Big Red.

Lovely… living on a farm is so much fun (good parts & bad parts). I love spendin time with all my animals too. What breed of goat is Harley? My Annabel & Harley look alot like 🙂

    • Teresa December 14, 2011 at 6:58 pm #

She is truly a mix~about half Boer, quarter Saanen and then some Nubian/Alpine?

Oh this is just too cute…it’s good to be silly, no matter who you are! Animals especially!

    • Teresa December 14, 2011 at 7:30 pm #

The goats are certainly the clowns of the animal world. They love to play and have fun!

I have Bob’s cousin, Peaches (yup, same coloring), on my lap supervising my blog reading. She is definitely a bright spot in my day as I see your animals are for you!

    • Teresa December 15, 2011 at 6:13 am #

There’s nothing like cuddling with a sweet kitty! Glad you have good supervision for your blogging. 🙂

    • Teresa December 15, 2011 at 6:14 am #

They truly are. Thanks so much!

Quackers!!! I love seeing him! He’s such a lovely color. Harley is a firey redhead! Beautiful. Flower makes a perfect angel.

    • Teresa December 15, 2011 at 6:15 am #

Quackers is my old man. He’s the last of my original birds, and he’ll be thirteen in May. Fiery is certainly a good description of Harley, and Flower can certainly be angelic when she wants to.

Flower is so adorable! Harley looks like she jumps around like my Bill… does she have “crazy fits” where she can leap off of all four feet all at once?

    • Teresa December 15, 2011 at 7:08 am #

She certainly can get all four feet off the ground at once. The weather had her really wound up that day (or maybe it was the Christmas hats).

  14. Candy C. December 15, 2011 at 7:58 am #

I don’t believe that halo would fit anyone here. 🙂

    • Teresa December 15, 2011 at 12:57 pm #

I must say Flower bent it quite out of shape. 🙂
