Snow!

We did get a bit of snow overnight.

Coral is kind of short, but we did have several inches (about six).

I was glad I had the Ranger ready to go.  It made the driveway clearing much easier, and a lot more fun.  I don’t know how I ever shoveled by hand all these years.

The geese just amaze me.  They handle storms like nothing is going on.

The wild birds, on the other hand, were all sitting there waiting for me to fill the feeders.  I did do that before I left for work.

I love the clean sparkling look of the land after a snowstorm.

There’s nothing like taking a deep breath of crisp winter air!

Linking to Farm Fun Friday and Nurture Photography where this week’s theme is blue/breathe.  No beautiful blue skies this week, so I had to go with the breathe. :-)  I do like the blue shadows you get with snow though.

I’m also linking to Camera Critters.

Looks like you fared pretty well, over all! I’ll bet it’s nice to have that Ranger…shoveling by hand is hard work!

After our winters two and three years ago, I thought I was going to die from all the shoveling. I’m getting way too old for that! I do appreciate the Ranger!

They were predicting 3-6 inches for us overnight. After all we’ve had so far this year, I’m glad we only got a bit over 3. Love the pic of the wildbirds and fence.

Snow does lay a clean, white blanket over the landscape. Helps to cure those winter blahs.

There is something clean and refreshing about snow, but then I don’t live where we get any! Perhaps that’s the reason why I like it! Coral looks like she might kick up her heels and play at any moment! Geese are something else.

Seems like they were not bothered by the cold. Love the 2nd photo with the goat. Cute!

It is pretty after a snow, especially before it gets all “tracked up!” That Ranger has certainly been a good investment! I hope you are enjoying your weekend! :)

It’s beautiful after new snow has fallen. I’m getting tired of all the snow and I wish spring would hurry up and get here already!
