White/Minimalist Geese

This week for Nurture Photography, the choices of topic are white or minimalist.  I’ve kind of combined them with my geese.

Awwwwwwww, wonderful, fun, and loving portraits today. Love the ones where they’re tucking their beaks in the feathers with barely an eye showing.

That’s their normal position when it’s cold and windy. They can survive blizzards like that (even though they do have a barn they can go in).

Well, in another month I’ll be posting pictures of the ganders chasing me and the geese hissing at me as I try to gather their eggs. They are not nice in the breeding season. ;-)

They do just tuck that wing under and they are a little mound. They stay out in the worst weather like that (even though they do have a barn to get in).
