Scavenger Hunt Sunday

When I saw the list for this week’s scavenger hunt, I really thought there would be no way I could ever find them all.  Turns out, they were really easy!

Lace:  I am not exactly a lace and frills kind of girl.  Not at all!  I do however have lace valences over my practical blinds.  It was wonderful to have the sun shining in this morning.

Bling:  I’m into bling about as much as I am lace, but then I figured it didn’t have to be mine.  Coffee is the only goat on the farm that has bling.  She came with that fancy ear tag.  I did add the collar.  That’s bling too isn’t it?  It was necessary when we were first training to milk and I was chasing her through the barnyard to catch her. Luckily, we’ve moved past that stage. :-)  I’m looking forward to milking her again this summer.

Wood:  This one was easy!  There’s wood all over my farm.  I decided to shoot my wooden fence between the yard and barnyard.  Then I noticed the shadow that made a perfect F.

Letter F

I got excited because I want to find all the letters of the alphabet on my farm. Then I can frame the different pictures to make words.

Letter z

Two letters down.  Twenty-four to go!

Fuzzy:  This one I knew would be easy other than which fuzzy critter to use.  I chose Bob.

It wasn’t until I had this on the computer I noticed he had something on his face.  Grrr…

Fabric:  With the cold weather we had last week, you certainly wanted plenty of layers to stay warm.  I didn’t leave the house without my gloves and coat.

I even made sure my coat was always zipped and the hood up.

We’re supposed to be warmer this week though, and there’s even a bit of rain in the forecast.

As soon as I saw the “F”, I thought of those alphabet pictures…this is a great one! I keep thinking I need to go looking, but haven’t even started yet.
I love the picture of Bob…never even would have noticed that he had something on his face. He looks like he might even be purring! :)

I think it’s a piece of a leaf stem that blew in when he or Snickers came in the window. We’ve got some static going here. :-) I really think I can get all the letters this year!

Love Bob and the bokeh in the background, the letter ‘f’ how clever of you, and the light streaming through the lace, is lovely and vintage looking. Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #67!

What a great find is that “F”, courtesy of post and shadow! Very clever! Coffee looks totally disinterested in photos, but still look so cute! and dear Bob! He is his own little world!

I love that Coffee with ear bling – it fits her style nicely, and she is a real beauty! The wood of the fence is wonderfully weathered – the grain so honest…what can we say about Bob who is quite cute while doing the job that cats do best(ours included :) . Glad you layered up, Iowa does seem to be the land of weather extremes…

Great photos. I love Coffee’s bling… I have seen those alphabet object photos and I think it is a neat idea. The sleeping cat is a precious shot.

I do love the design in the glass. I’m guessing it’s from when the house was built in 1900 though, and it would be nice to have windows that were a bit warmer.

Thanks. I keep thinking I should go for a walk in the pasture while the trees are bare. I might find some good letters in the branches.

I’m glad to hear there’s another blogger who doesn’t “do” lace and bling very much. I thought I might be sailing that boat alone. Love Bob, smudge face and all, and all of your wood shots are gorgeous. Here in Maine it’s been cold too. I’ve been making a fashion statement with hat hair all week. Happy day to you.
