This week’s items for Ashley Sisk’s Scavenger Hunt Sunday are: breakfast, multi-colored, starts with the letter c, roll, and future.
Breakfast: It’s a good thing I had the weekend. I actually took the time to have a piece of toast with homemade strawberry rhubarb jam with my cup of coffee. Did I mention that I like canning jams, and I’d like to offer them for sale when I get my on-farm market?
Roll: I sometimes confuse people. They wonder why on earth I have a really cheap McDonald’s happy meal car just lying around on my floor, especially now that my son has moved out. I’ve even had some people pick it up for me.
Starts with the letter C: Here’s the explanation as to why I have that little car just lying about. The cats have a lot of fun with it.

Multi-colored: They also enjoy the rainbow pillow my mom made for them. She spoils them.

Future: The future of my goat herd is Fionn. He’s been busy this weekend, and we’ll have babies in June

I was really desperate for “roll” and it just seemed natural to try and get the cats to play with it. They do all the time anyhow.

I’m loving it, and having so much fun! I just discovered continuous mode, and then realized I may need a speedlight for pictures inside the stable’s arena.
I’m practicing on the cats, OldWoman, and now, my brothers cats.

I did finally get a speedlight. I’m still trying to figure out all the details with it. Of course, I like some of the lighting effects in the barn without the additional light. Glad to hear you are enjoying it!

That Fionn is a sweet one- he looks pretty proud of himself! I leave weird stuff laying on the floor for my cat too. Only I usually end up stepping on/tripping over, and hurting myself…while the cat smirks/laughs catsterically at me.

That’s funny. I have to say, these three are pretty good at not leaving them in the middle of the floor. It’s usually under the dining room table. I’m sure Fionn is in heaven. He’s the only boy in there and the girls have all been in love with him!
