A Sunny Morning

When I got up this morning it was quite bright and sunny.  That means the frost from overnight didn’t stick around long.

It did however look interesting where the frost was still on the deck in the shadows.

Stella and Bob were already up and wanting breakfast and attention.  I don’t know why Stella always moves her bowl all over the deck.  Really, I find it rather annoying.

It was also the perfect morning to go enjoy the critters in the barnyard because it was a bit warmer than it has been lately.

Kizzy appreciated the treat of candy cane.

Bambi did too.

Honestly these three are snack-o-holics.  They positively attack if they think they are getting food.

Can you tell Bambi and Coffee are both expecting babies for the end of March?

I bet you are glad to be thawing out a bit. And March isn’t really very far off. :)

You know, I’m still hoping for a lot more winter. We’re still dealing with some respiratory junk. I just want a long freeze to reduce some of the bacteria levels. It will be good to get rid of the ice by the cattle tank and adjust the float, but then lets get cold again!

I love the faded sun-bleached color of your deck slats on the second shot. Few things rejuvenate the soul like waking up to a bright sun on a winter morning. Liked peeking in on your rather idyllic-looking life on your goat farm.
    Cheers,

Ahhhhhhh, what is that? Sunshine? We haven’t had that since the 29th of December…LAST year. LOL Hoping today we’ll have some. LOVE the photo of your Bambi and Kizzy getting candy cane treats.

Cool picture of the frost in the shadows of the deck rail slats! :)
I was giving the goats peanuts, per Marigold’s recommendation, but quit because I feared for my safety every time I went down to the pasture, peanuts in hand or not! LOL!!
