I was outside playing with Stella this morning. I think she was enjoying the attention.
Suddenly, I heard a cat meowing, but I knew all of my kitties were in the house.
What had the cat looking like a Halloween cat?
Stella. She loves cats and wouldn’t hurt one, but they are fun to bounce on.
They’re soft and squishy and make funny noises when you bounce on them.
I was hoping she would scare the kitty and he would go back home, but look where it ended up.
Don’t get me wrong. I love cats, but I have two very good reasons for not wanting any other cats wandering into my yard.
I don’t need any cats coming over and fighting with my kitties.
Hopefully, this one learned its lesson.

stella is SO cute! love your kitties, too. wish i could take that black cat off your hands, but sadly my pups would probably do more than ‘bounce’ on him.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 19:30:55
It only has to walk across the road to go home. It’s just that the cats tend to want to move into my nice garage and barn. I don’t need any more kitties.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 19:30:21
The black kitty is ready to attack!
Pony Ride
Have a fabulous weekend.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 19:31:36
As a young kitty, it was all bluff. Stella wasn’t even trying to bounce, just introduce herself.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 19:49:48
Looks like a fun romp in the yard. I hope Snickers is having a good fall!
Oct 20, 2012 @ 19:56:12
He’s actually doing well. He’s regularly eating canned cat food now, and his mouth is much better, so he feels better overall. Thanks for caring.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:04:12
Hope the kitty finds it way back home.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:06:04
I’m sure he did. It’s not very far.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:04:36
The Halloween cat is cute up in tree, though! He looks a lot like a well loved kitty of mine that died a few years ago.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:07:00
I’m sorry. I have a soft spot for black cats after my little Black Magic cat. He was Bob’s litter mate, but he lived his life in a wild brilliant flash.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:06:48
i love “snickers” …. what a cutie. you have the greatest named animals. so cool. (:
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:14:29
I do generally put a lot of thought into their names.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:22:15
Stella is a pretty big love hound, I could see why that kitty would be a little scared!
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:24:25
I’m sure it doesn’t feel great to be squished under those feet, but she wasn’t even bouncing at him.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:24:09
I love it when they make themselves look fierce!
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:25:21
Like that arching back makes a lot of difference to Stella! It is cute though.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:27:16
Snickers, Bob, and Stella – all cute cute cute! Stella looks like she is a sweetie pie. That black cat really looked like a Halloween cat!
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:33:16
He looked pretty nice and friendly until he saw Stella. Hope he stays home now.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 20:47:10
Wonderful …

Oct 20, 2012 @ 21:54:45
Oh my word, you’re funny!! “They’re fun to bounce on” Lol.
That is the perfect Halloween-looking cat!!
Oct 20, 2012 @ 21:59:49
She really does enjoy bouncing on my two orange kitties. Poor things.
Oct 20, 2012 @ 23:39:02
Stella is a true beauty, as are Snickers and Bob. You certainly got the Halloween poses from that black cat!
Oct 21, 2012 @ 07:40:37
That is all thanks to Stella!
Oct 21, 2012 @ 01:34:56
A Halloween cat indeed! And such a lovely dog.
Oct 21, 2012 @ 07:40:51
Stella is a beauty. Thanks for stopping by.
Oct 21, 2012 @ 04:21:16
Hmm. You had the black cat……Bev had the raccoon…….
I wonder what these Samhain visitors have to tell us…..?
Oct 21, 2012 @ 07:41:21
I think my visitor was speaking about the importance of spaying and neutering your pets.
Oct 21, 2012 @ 05:46:42
Aww your dog and cats are so cute. The black cat was a great capture!
Visiting from Camera Critters
Oct 21, 2012 @ 07:41:41
Well, I just hope the black cat learned its lesson and stays home.
Oct 21, 2012 @ 15:00:22
pretty good timing on that black cat….
Oct 21, 2012 @ 15:18:43
Well, I’m pretty sure he heard me talking to Stella and thought he’d get some attention.
Oct 21, 2012 @ 16:19:12
I love the pictures of Stella at play, what a sweetie!
A lot of the neighborhood cats (and dogs) like to hang out at our house too, that’s actually how we eneded up with Ruby, she wouldn’t leave! Hope Halloween Kitty decides to stay home now!
Oct 21, 2012 @ 16:49:01
I do too. I think Stella should be a good deterrent!
Oct 21, 2012 @ 16:41:56
‘Tis a Halloween cat! Love Stella’s ‘play bow’. Goats don’t ever do that. They just go ahead and ram you with no warning…playing or not. Oy.
Oct 21, 2012 @ 16:49:34
Too true! Dogs are so fun to watch play, and even though she’s huge, she still plays like a little puppy.
Oct 21, 2012 @ 18:54:11
I love love love these photos! Stella is such a beauty. And that photo is the perfect Halloween cat!
Oct 21, 2012 @ 19:14:18
Poor kitty was posing perfectly!
Oct 22, 2012 @ 03:01:21
You were able to capture that kitty’s pose just at the right time. Wonderful photos! I’m visiting from Mosaic Monday. I am entry #24 and hope you will stop by for a visit.
Oct 22, 2012 @ 06:54:54
That kitty gave me plenty of time to capture his Halloween look! Thanks for stopping by.
Oct 22, 2012 @ 05:47:21
What a perfect pose & black cat for Halloween! Love your orange kitties
Oct 22, 2012 @ 06:56:05
Thanks. I love my kitties too, which is why I don’t like other cats coming around fighting with them.
Oct 22, 2012 @ 08:02:42
I love seeing Stella in action! You caught the black kitty in lots of ‘scary cat’ poses, but he’s really cute. Hi Snickers and Bob!
Oct 22, 2012 @ 08:04:25
I hate having to let Stella scare him off, but it really does get to be a problem when they want to fight my kitties. Snickers certainly doesn’t need that stress.
Oct 24, 2012 @ 03:04:34
I have two cats of my own and I like to keep other cats out of my garden because they don’t like other cats to come in. I don’t usually have to do anything – other cats run as soon as they see me!
Oct 24, 2012 @ 06:43:45
Big dogs do inspire fear in little kitties. My Stella loves cats, but don’t tell the interlopers that!
Oct 24, 2012 @ 13:23:30
Great shots!!!
Real funny to look at…
