Snickers and Bob generally don’t get along. Snickers was mad when Bob came home, but Bob adored Snickers. Eventually, Bob figured out that Snickers would just try to run and avoid him, so it’s become great fun! Well, it’s fun for Bob.
Anyhow, I was quite surprised to see them sitting outside this close together.

precious little moving pumpkins.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 20:19:26
What a great way to describe them!
Sep 21, 2012 @ 17:15:33
Of all the orange cats I have had over the years I always found they were the most vocal.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 20:19:52
Snickers’s last name is McWhiner.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 18:28:52
What a cute shot! Excellent use of selective color here.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 20:20:10
Thanks. They are so similar in color I thought it would work well.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 19:03:21
They look so much alike from behind…and also like they have a good life on your farm!
Sep 21, 2012 @ 20:21:03
We try. If only certain other cats didn’t invade their territory, it would be pretty awesome for them!
Sep 21, 2012 @ 19:19:44
I love that picture! It is so cute! We have 2 cats that hate each other to… One of them thinks it is hilarious.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 20:21:40
Bob is smaller and not mean, but he just delights in torturing Snickers. Naughty Bob.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 21:40:12
Well everyone is naughty sometimes… Bends the rules, pesters the other cats…
Myson looks nice in the stanchion! Does he have any alpine on him? His ears reminded me of alpines. And Sandy and Violet are doing well they are getting very big!
Sep 22, 2012 @ 07:12:29
He has the Saanen ears. There might be a bit of Toggenburg or Alpine (I guess Togg).
Sep 21, 2012 @ 19:21:39
Orange kitties are the best! The goat’s have an orange kitty pet named Grimm.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 20:23:18
Such a cute name. I admit I am partial to black kitties, but I do adore my orange kitties too.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 20:09:54
What sweet photos of your cats! I love their orange color.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 20:24:02
Thanks. They both have their very sweet moments.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 20:40:00
Maybe they finally worked things out
Sep 21, 2012 @ 21:02:50
I’m sure it’s only until the next time Bob wants to play.
Sep 21, 2012 @ 22:10:14
I had the same thing with Yoda and DC. Yoda hated the newbie and DC just wanted to be loved. I have a couple pictures of them sleeping close – DC just kept creeping closer and closer. It was odd to watch them. Love your orange kitties, think my favorite color. Never was able to have more than one. I take what God provides, you see.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 07:13:46
All my kitties seem to come to me. I’ve never had to look for a cat. If Snickers weren’t so uppity, he’d have a lot of fun playing with Bob. He loves to play with Leo.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 03:53:05
Cute story and that’s a really neat photo:@)
Sep 22, 2012 @ 07:14:17
Thanks. They have a tentative truce most times, until Bob wants to play.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 05:55:04
They are! They are precious, moving PUMPKINS!
Sep 22, 2012 @ 07:14:45
Perfect for Halloween! They already come with faces.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 07:40:26
So cute. I had a ginger cat years ago. I hope you’ll come link up to my Blog Fest: http://fresh-eggs-daily.blogspot.com/2012/09/farm-girl-friday-blog-fest-1.html
Sep 22, 2012 @ 11:43:59
There seem to be plenty of these orange kitties that find me. They are beautiful though.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 08:18:12
They are adorable!
Sep 22, 2012 @ 09:10:26
Thanks. My son has always called Snickers a “magnificent specimen.”
Sep 22, 2012 @ 08:19:21
They are pretty, love their color. Great shot!
Sep 22, 2012 @ 09:10:49
Thanks. It’s not often I have the chance to get a picture of the two of them together.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 11:23:29
Nice contrast of orange kitties to the background. Looking at this makes one think that they do get along all the time. Great shot.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 11:42:50
Thanks. If they didn’t have such attitudes, they’d enjoy each other’s company.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 11:40:58
Aren’t they gorgeous.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 11:43:03
Thanks. I think they are quite handsome.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 12:19:24
We have one colored like Bob! She came from a 3 colored mother.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 13:15:24
Isn’t it amazing the variety of colors found in our animal friends! I am pretty boring with my cats~2 orange and 1 black and white. We’ve a lot more variety in the goats.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 20:38:17
I love the way you have the picture set up in black/white with the kitties providing the contrast-really beautiful!
Sep 22, 2012 @ 22:16:04
Thanks. They are full of contrast!
Sep 23, 2012 @ 08:36:38
Great photo….thanks for linking up!!!
Happy Sunday.
Sep 23, 2012 @ 09:13:58
Thanks. I love sharing my life on the farm, so thanks for hosting!
Sep 23, 2012 @ 10:31:11
All is well that ends well
Beautiful cats!
Sep 23, 2012 @ 10:37:03
Thanks. It’s good that they don’t truly hate each other, but I do wish they could get along all the time.
Sep 23, 2012 @ 17:14:27
They are very cute…I love the color…they are all dressed up for fall.
Sep 23, 2012 @ 17:22:22
They are perfect for fall! They make good blankets too.
Sep 25, 2012 @ 08:13:36
Cute. My farm cat Piper does not like any of the other 4 farm kitties that live here… she stays down in the barnyard.
Sep 25, 2012 @ 08:48:22
It’s almost funny to watch their little personality squabbles. Silly cats!
