I have been quite busy lately, and I haven’t had my camera with me, so here’s just a little bit of what I’ve been doing. Of course, I’ve been doing chores, which includes gathering the eggs.
It also includes milking the goats.
I’ve been making mozzarella and freezing milk for all the soap making I’ve been doing. Here’s some of the newest soaps I’ve been working on.
Mom and I went to the farmer’s market last night, and I actually had my camera there. The only thing that I took a picture of~can you see what’s on his shoulder?
It’s a praying mantis.
Yep, that’s what I’ve been doing.
Linking to SOOC Sunday and Macro Monday.

guess it’s good to be productive and busy.
Sep 08, 2012 @ 19:02:37
I certainly think so!
Sep 08, 2012 @ 19:18:38
You are one busy lady. I suppose it is the old saying of no idle hands! Something like that. Have a great Sunday. Hope the sale went well.
Sep 08, 2012 @ 19:25:03
Thanks. I have a hard time just doing nothing. I hope you have a great Sunday as well.

Poor Mantis, looks like wounded wing.
Lovely eggs and soaps!
Sep 08, 2012 @ 20:13:29
Yes, the poor thing was injured when it was found.
Sep 08, 2012 @ 20:03:24
There’s definitely not much time to be bored on the farm, that’s for sure!
Sep 08, 2012 @ 20:14:13
I don’t know the last time I was bored (when I wasn’t at work).
Sep 08, 2012 @ 22:15:24
I’ve never seen a preying mantis with bright green on its wings. I’m sorry it was hurt. I think it is very hard to get board when living on a farm…and the work never ends!
Sep 08, 2012 @ 22:52:02
I’d say it’s impossible to be bored on the farm! I just need more time in my days.
Sep 08, 2012 @ 23:08:56
Oh I would have freaked out if that thing had been on me. I am terrified of those. I don’t know what it is about them, but they give me the creeps. I have chills just seeing your photos.
Farm work does keep you busy. There is always something that needs tending to. But, i am glad that you find the time to blog and share a few photos. I enjoy reading your blog post.
Happy Sunday!

Your mozarella must be very good, when I look at these cute goats !
Sep 09, 2012 @ 07:23:35
If cuteness had anything to do with flavor, it would be divine! It’s pretty darn good as it is.
Sep 09, 2012 @ 06:56:18
I like the picture of Millie and the chickens!
Sep 09, 2012 @ 07:24:10
For some reason, Millie doesn’t always go out to pasture with everyone in the evening. I think she’s waiting for treats or me as an escort.
Sep 09, 2012 @ 09:25:38
Busy is good!
Your new soaps are lovely, I like the bright green in energizing! Cool mantis, I have been seeing quite a few recently here.
Sep 09, 2012 @ 10:29:27
I don’t often see the praying mantis. I feel bad that he was injured, but it was still cool to see. I am having a lot of fun playing with the soaps.
Sep 09, 2012 @ 20:17:27
You are a busy lady! Love the preying mantis, it seems to like posing for the camera.
Sep 09, 2012 @ 20:21:55
I am pretty much always busy. The poor mantis was injured, but he didn’t seem to upset modeling.
Sep 09, 2012 @ 22:00:37
just marvelous…….
Sep 09, 2012 @ 22:13:03
Thanks. Glad you stopped by.
Sep 10, 2012 @ 03:13:23
Oh my goodness it really does look like some sort of alien life form. Great capture.
