A Butterfly

Last night when I was out fixing fence, I happened across a swallowtail butterfly sitting on a thistle.

It didn’t stay long though.

I took my soaps to the farmer’s market again tonight, so I’m late getting my post up.  I’ll try to be more organized next week.

So beautiful! I rarely manage to capture photos of butterflies as the ones in my garden don’t tend to stop still long enough! :)

If there is such a thing as a perfect composition, I think you’ve managed to do it in BOTH images!!!
