Soaping

Since it’s been so hot outside, I’ve been spending some time inside soaping this summer.  Hopefully, when I start back to work my soap stores will be full and I’ll be ready to enter the holiday gift season.

My latest is a venture in individual molded soaps.

I’m also making boxes so that a purchased molded soap is already boxed and ready to gift.

I’ve been making lots of boxes.

The soaps fit perfectly!

My dad made me another mold so I can play even more with layers and swirls and chunks.  I’m thinking I need to try a chocolate almond swirl soap.

I like using natural colorants.  I’ve used chocolate, sage, and oatmeal/honey. What are some other good natural colorants?

I think I’m getting a good assortment of soaps.  The vintage soap holder was a gift from my Goat Sister, Mimi Foxmorton.
