Thanks. They look so pretty right now.

I heard a little heads-up on the radio about the tulips in Pella. If you want to see them, go within the next couple weeks! They will be gone by the normal Tulip Time days. And the tulips at Reiman Gardens {on campus} are beginning to bloom!
Thanks for the tip to remove email address….now I can leave comments again.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 17:24:56
A lady I work with said this weekend would be the peak for the tulips at Pella. I have actually never been to the festival.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 16:14:57
Beautiful Tulips! I was expecting a goat nibbling on one
Apr 04, 2012 @ 17:25:42
I try to keep those goats under control.
It’s not always easy.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 16:19:47
Lovely shots! Thanks for making it so I don’t need to provide email address. When I try and put it in I get an error message and can’t comment…

I was missing so many of my commenters. I’m glad I figured it out.

Beautiful flowers. I am seeing so many colorful blooms I am wondering what I am doing wrong in my yard. Maybe I need to actually go plant something.

I really need to do a lot of work on my flower beds this year. I’ve neglected them horribly for the last couple of years.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 16:43:03
I love tulips and the last tulip is unique in color. Happy Wednesday!

It is definitely unique. I wish I knew what variety it is.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 17:04:13
Beautiful, Teresa!
I hope you are feeling better.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 17:28:06
Thanks. I’m getting there. I actually did chores myself tonight.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 17:11:59
Wow, you have quite a few varieties of tulips – all so beautiful! The colors are striking. I hope to have a few if the bunnies stop nibbling
Apr 04, 2012 @ 17:28:35
My two big dogs keep the rabbits at bay! Of course, they also sleep in my flower beds too.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 17:26:40
Wow…wow….I love your tulips shots, and the different colors! They are gorgeous!
Apr 04, 2012 @ 17:30:27
Thanks. There used to be more different ones, but they were so deep in the ground I couldn’t dig them up, and I think they’ve gotten too deep to grow anymore.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 17:43:06
So pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 18:32:40
My pleasure. I really enjoy all the flowers this time of year.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 17:52:44

Apr 04, 2012 @ 18:32:59
I enjoy taking pictures around here and sharing.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 18:02:17
Wait a minute1 Didn’t you used to have goats?
Just kidding. You are really doing beautiful work with that new lens!
Apr 04, 2012 @ 18:33:35
I try to keep the goats out of the yard, but it doesn’t always work. Thanks. I do love the new lens!
Apr 04, 2012 @ 18:09:18
they are lovely. the squirrels pop off the heads on ours, so i have never replanted.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 18:34:01
Well, I guess that’s another tulip rodent that the dogs keep away from them.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 18:32:09
They’re beautiful…love those yellow tulips among the bleeding heart!
Apr 04, 2012 @ 18:35:09
I have quite a few different flowers under that big magnolia tree. It’s a pretty big area for a flower bed.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 18:37:20
Of all the flowers in the world, the tulip
is my favorite… I try to keep a bunch
on my dining room table,, all year!

Apr 04, 2012 @ 19:12:19
Beautiful tulips. I wish I could grow them here.

OOPS! Sent the message too soon and accidentally figured out how to post a comment on your blog… or at least I think I did.
Your tulips still make me wish mine were blooming now and I’m still a tad jealous.

WordPress did make a change, so I changed my settings, and you can leave the comment without an e-mail address. I was really wondering why everyone quit commenting. This is way early compared to when they are supposed to be blooming.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 20:28:41
OOooo so beautiful!
Apr 04, 2012 @ 20:38:36
Thanks.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 21:20:47
The Goatmother has been to Pella! Awesome. Your Tulips are beautiful! There was an article that Pella was spraying their Tulips with Rye Whiskey in an effort to keep them from blooming too soon from the unseasonably warm weather this year. Hope it works and though don’t just get drunk Tulips.
Apr 04, 2012 @ 21:26:24
I don’t know about the whiskey, but I can tell you that the tulips in Pella will not be around at festival time. They are in their glory right now!
Apr 04, 2012 @ 21:33:57
Beautiful Tulips!
Apr 04, 2012 @ 22:18:26
Thank you. They might be early, but they are still beautiful!
Apr 04, 2012 @ 22:58:51
Beautiful tulips, I love all the different colors!
Apr 05, 2012 @ 06:15:38
I used to have peach tulips that were my favorite. I’m going to have to try and find some of those again.
Apr 05, 2012 @ 01:10:58
I love love love tulips. These are beautiful. Do the goats like to nibble on them?
Apr 05, 2012 @ 06:16:05
I’m sure they would, but I do try to enforce the “No yard goats” rule.
Apr 05, 2012 @ 05:59:34
Nothing more beautiful at Eastertime than TULIPS! These are lovely!
Happy T Day!

Apr 05, 2012 @ 06:16:30
Thank you. Hope you enjoy the holiday weekend.
Apr 05, 2012 @ 08:33:19
Your photos are fabulous. Our tulips haven’t come up yet–just daffodils and forsythia so far. I’m hoping the deer and squirrels haven’t pulled up all the bulbs! Linda
Apr 05, 2012 @ 09:04:53
I do hope yours come up soon. They are such cheerful flowers for the early spring.
Apr 05, 2012 @ 10:25:32
So stunning! Mine only have buds that haven’t yet opened. I can’t wait!
Apr 05, 2012 @ 11:01:55
Thanks. They are such pretty flowers; they are worth the wait!
Apr 05, 2012 @ 11:33:19
Terrific tulips!
=)
Apr 05, 2012 @ 12:32:24
Thank you. They really are beautiful right now.
Apr 05, 2012 @ 12:59:31
Beautiful tulips. I love them as you can see in my post.
Happy Easter
Apr 05, 2012 @ 13:03:26
You had so many beautiful tulips in your post. It makes my few look pretty pathetic.
Apr 05, 2012 @ 17:51:44
I LOVE Tulips! My favorite time of year is when they are blooming. If they can survive the deer, that should be in about a week!
Apr 05, 2012 @ 18:19:12
I hope the deer don’t get yours. I don’t worry about that with two big dogs!
Apr 05, 2012 @ 19:31:05
Those are so pretty! Tulips and daffodils always remind me of Spring- this year I have daffodils blooming in the yard, an tulips from the florist on the dining room table!
Stopping in for Alaphabe Thursday!
Tracy
Apr 05, 2012 @ 19:41:00
Truly you know it’s spring when those two flowers make their appearances. Thanks for stopping by.
Apr 06, 2012 @ 08:07:31
Lovely photos, I adore tulips and their bright colors! All our flowers are blooming early this year because of the warm weather. Have a great weekend!
Apr 06, 2012 @ 09:04:23
It is nice to have these flowers for Easter weekend, even if they are early.
Apr 07, 2012 @ 08:12:24
I have three bouquets of supermarket tulips in the house, but none blooming outside yet. We were hit by terrible hail yesterday and all the daffodils are battered – what a spring!
Apr 07, 2012 @ 08:23:52
What a shame. Hope the daffodils were the only hail damage. Spring storms can be relentless. I just wish we’d get some more rain.
Apr 10, 2012 @ 14:55:55
I love Tulips…
And these photographs are so vivid…

Terrific post for the letter “T”!
